On Friday night I was supposed to have a girls night in at my house, but Jack ended getting strep throat. So I decided it would be a great time to take Lily on a date, just me and her! We had so much fun and I LOVED spending time with her! She decided we should go get pizza, so we went to CiCi's Pizza and loaded up our plates. We shared our plates with each other and tried the different kinds of pizzas. We ate and just talked about all the things she likes (her toys, Grammys and Papas, her friends (a.k.a. her cousins, I love that she calls them her friends!), coloring, books, fruit snacks, Mom and dad, jack and lacy... She is such a beautiful little lady, inside and out and I feel very lucky and privileged to be her Mom!

After dinner we went to Walmart to get a movie, ice cream and to let her pick out a toy. She picked this baby doll she named Lacy :) She wanted me to take a picture of us kissing her baby, but she was a fast kisser ;)
It was a FUN date and I even got lucky enough to get a kiss at the end, 2 if you count the doll ;)
I am thinking mom and daughter dates will be happening more often around here!

How fun, I think this is such a great thing to get started, my daughters are my very best friends, I am sure you are going to be able to have that same close relationship with your girls

SO Sweet!! I need to do that more often with Autumn! It is hard to find a way to do it, but I think it is so important! Your kids are adorable. I love having my kids close in age, they grow up being best friends: )
